Visiting Kay and Bud Pryor in Columbus, Ohio Not sure the location, but a typical trailer park for us. Thanks for the file, Steve! Steve waving in the Colorado Rockies Dad in front of the 'This is the place' monument near Salt Lake City, Utah. Steve, Jan & Jim in the Sierras (?) Emmett Kelly travelled all the way with us, tied to the radio antenna.
Waiting for our scouts to return from the pass beyond Yosemite. Exploring Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. The boy on the right lived in the trailer park we stayed at and was friendly with Steve. I remember he owned a white rat. Myself in front of the trailer in San Francisco. Note the Pacer nameplate on the trailer. Doug and Steve next to ... Oregon Trail marker? Steve enjoyed riding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jim and Dad near Jenny Lake with the Teton Moutains behind.
Our campsite in Yellowstone National Park. Watch out for bears! Mom, Jan & Doug (me) in front of 'Old Faithful.' This is one of my favorite pictures of this trip. Gotta love the new boots and cowboy hat! Jan beside the Mount Rushmore sign. This was perhaps the most famous place that I got separated from everyone. Close up of me at Old Faithful with my boots and hat. I was pretty stylish in the heyday of Roy Rogers! Close up of me in front of the trailer door in San Francisco.
